SC217

Ever seen ice cream with a glittery coating? Me neither, but it shore does look yummy to meeee!! Mmmmmmm :) On a different note, have you ever had a "WOW....I REALLY spaced out," kind of moment? I had decided to try out the latest Splitcoast Sketch Challenge and use what's called little "inchies" as my focal image. Basically, small images that can fit into a 1" square. So I made my little ice cream cones and proceed to let those dry while I look for the 1" square punch. Well, I guess I had never purchased that punch *gasp* and so I think to myself, "crap, I can't finish this card until I go out and by a 1" square punch." YES I AM SERIOUS!!! It only took me about 30 minutes to figure out they, "hey! I can just cut little square with my paper trimmer." Literally....this was a palm_to_forehead kind of moment. Don't judge!!!! :)

Here's the final product.

All supplies Stampin' Up! (unless otherwise noted)
Stamps: ABC Images, Warm Words
Ink: Basic Brown, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Candy Lane dsp
Accessories: Fine Supernova glitter, Crystal Effects, Lt. Pink gingham (retired), Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug, Dew Drops by Robin's Nest

Thanks so much for stopping in and remember....don't judge!!! :)))

No judging, just sharing, I had that same moment before, except in a different context.

I was shopping at a local scrapbook store and they had all their Marvy punches on sale for 35% off. I was like WOW, definitely NEED to get some. I picked up a few circles, scalloped circle and square and also a mini envelope punch.

I had 7 punches in hand, but seeing as it was 35% off, I really struggle with getting a few more punches, specifically the square ones. I struggled walking back and forth to the display. Picked up a square punch and put it down again. Then a friend of mine came over to see what was the problem. So I told her and she gave me a weird look and very awkwardly said "You know you can cut squares with your paper trimmer, right?"

Did I ever turn red. So all in all, very similar to your story. I do wonder after that time, why in the world would companies make square punches.

Anyways, sorry for the long comment. Thanks for sharing your card. I really like it, it's so yummy.

Cute cute card! I had a few (ok, more than a few!) of those moments when I had to actually do math *gasp!* trying to figure out how many of this and that's to cut while preparing 300 cards!!! ;op Great blog!
