Christmas in October?

Every year I say I'll get started on my Christmas cards early so I can have them mailed out and delivered at a time where they can actually be on display at the recipient's home for at least a good couple weeks. You want to know what really happens? Time gets away from me and I make a mad dash to crank out Christmas cards that maybe get delivered a day or so before the holiday. This year will be different!! To get me started on the right foot I got out my Holiday Happenings Bundle, got inspired by Jill's card here, and got to work! This is what I came up with.
The Holiday Happenings bundle is something you can get FREE with qualifying sales from hostessing your own party. It includes a 4-piece Seasonal Icons stamp set, nine pieces of coordinating double-sided designer paper, and rub-ons (a sheet in chocolate and a sheet in white) in every occasion you could think of. WELL worth having your party for! :) There is more to the card! Pull out the insert and write your greeting OR put in a family photo.
Now, I personally, would have never paired these colors together, but it's working for me! Plus, this gave me an excuse to use that LUSCIOUS Kiwi satin ribbon. :) You may not be able to tell, but the snowflakes do have glitter on them. Maybe you can see it better here?
The snowflake on the 1" circle was stamped in white craft, embossed with iridescent ice, and then I colored in the little "holes" at the tips of the snowflake with the white gel pen. The snowflake on the actual card has dazzling diamonds in all the little "holes."
Oh! Patty (I LOVE this lady!!) has a video tutorial on how to make this card using the Big Shot.

Have I enabled you yet?? :) Book a party NOW and get started on your Christmas cards! December will be here before you know it.

Thanks for visiting!
