I have never participated in a Sketch Challenge...I'm a REALLY good copier! :) But I've always noticed blogs that have sketch challenges and/or color challenges, so what the heck? Why not give one of these a shot? It didn't take long to find one over at Beate's blog. The layout needed to follow this template:
I knew that I wanted to use the new wide Riding Hood Red/Vanilla ribbon that's in the Holiday mini. Once I settled on that, I think I just stared blankly for 30 minutes or so, LOL. Just kidding! It wasn't that bad, but it did take me a while to figure out what stamp set and colors to use! I settled on a level 2 hostess set called Deer Friends (gotta host a party to get this one!) It's sooo super cute! Anyway, here's what I came up with.
There's really not much to it. I usually incorporate a lot of elements to a card, but I just couldn't think of what else I could add to it without taking away from my cute little reindeer with the super large honker! (I even popped his nose up with a dimensional and added crystal effects) Hope you've enjoyed it!
